Week 15

"Wordless Wednesday"

"Marriage"

Marriage is a lifelong commitment and partnership between a man and a woman with exclusive love and fidelity with one another.

God's Word clearly states that marriage is ordained by God to be a lifelong commitment. So then, why does our society expend so much energy looking for "acceptable" ways of getting out of a marriage covenant that is for life?

We need to see "marriage" in the "truth" that God established BEFORE we say the words pledging our hearts to one another!

We need to teach this to our children beginning today!

And...we need to help those that have drifted away from their promises made to God for their marriage!

Going into marriage with an understanding that successful marriages take effort, work each and everyday.

I currently have a "friend" family member dealing with Divorce

I just have a "hard" time understanding why people check out so easily without "trying" to save the commitment they made to each other

I believe marriage is forever, it's not always easy, but it takes work and dedication

Marriage is worth fighting for, so what are you doing to fireproof your marriage?

Russ and I watched this movie several weeks ago "Fireproof"

I encourage everyone to see this movie, and to encourage others to do so as well

"Mothers Day to me"

So Mothers Day to me means
that I simply enjoy the fact that
I am VERY blessed to be a mom.
It means I am thankful for long and tiring days.
I am thankful for the discouragement, struggles, trials, pains, and joy that this job brings.
I am thankful for the good days and bad.
I am thankful for our gluten free life
I believe it's made me a better Mother.
I am thankful for a noisy and messy house.
I am thankful for the piles of laundry, "we ALL know wash IS NOT my favorite job"
The dirty floors, and the fingerprints on the walls, because it all means I am a mom.
Without these guys/girl I wouldn't be me.
I LOVE each and every one of them and feel truly blessed God has picked me to be their Mother

I can't forget about this guy

I know "some" days I drive him crazy, however without him I wouldn't be, "ME"

A "Mom" and have "my amazing children"
